Background My name is Jennifer Scott, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (R.D.N.), Licensed Dietitian (L.D.). I have a passion for nutrition and love to empower people with the knowledge and guidance needed to better nourish themselves. I graduated from Arizona State University, Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Nutrition in 2003, and completed my dietetic internship at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. I have been a registered dietitian nutritionist since 2004. Experience I spent the first decade of my career as a clinical dietitian working in different hospitals where I was responsible for managing nutrition support for critically ill and medically complicated patients; and, educating patients on the dietary management of various conditions including GI diseases, diabetes, heart disease, and pregnancy. In 2015, I took a leap and decided to change focus. I directed my passion for running and knowledge of sports nutrition into personal nutrition coaching. Since 2017, I have been guiding athletes and runners at all levels and ages learn how to better fuel themselves and meet their goals. I also teach clients of all backgrounds and interests learn to adjust their daily nutritional intake to improve their health. Philosophy If you are looking for quick and rapid weight loss then I am NOT your gal. However, if you are looking for help in making lasting changes to your diet and eating habits, focusing on a healthy relationship with food, properly fueling your body for activities, or help choosing more nourishing meals for your family, then you are in the right place.
